Verbal

Terms

Last updated 17 August 2026

This is a working draft, not finished legal advice. It sets out honestly how the service behaves today. Before Verbal takes payment it needs a review by someone qualified.

1. Who this is between

These terms are between you and Stoodioos, which operates Verbal at verbalguidelines.com. Using the service means you accept them.

To be completed before launch: registered company name, number and address.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to that Google account secure. You must be 18 or over and, if you are signing up for a business, entitled to accept these terms for it.

3. What you can expect from us

We will make a reasonable effort to keep Verbal available and working. We do not promise it will never be unavailable. This is a young product and features change.

We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you rely on or changing a paid plan you are on.

4. What we expect from you

You agree not to:

If you do any of these, we may suspend or close your account. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.

5. Your content is yours

You keep ownership of everything you put into Verbal and everything it writes for you. You can use that writing however you like, including commercially.

You give us permission to store and process your content only so far as we need to in order to run the service for you. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train a general purpose model.

6. What the writing is, and is not

Verbal produces drafts. It can be wrong, and it can be confidently wrong. Check anything factual before you publish it, particularly prices, claims, dates and anything regulated.

Similar briefs can produce similar writing for different customers. We cannot promise anything it writes is unique, and you are responsible for what you publish.

7. Limits on use

Each plan has daily limits, published on the pricing page. They exist to keep the service running for everyone and to stop abuse. We may adjust them, and if we lower a limit on a paid plan we will tell you first.

8. Payment

Paid plans are not switched on yet. When they are, prices will be shown before you are asked for anything, and these terms will be updated to cover billing, renewal and refunds.

9. Ending it

You can stop using Verbal at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without cause, we will give you a reasonable chance to take your writing with you.

10. Liability

Verbal is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue or reputation arising from your use of the service or from anything it wrote.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

To be completed before launch: a liability cap, reviewed by someone qualified.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and, where we hold your email and the change is significant, tell you directly.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
